April Scott Kids got its' start in 2007 when I made a little sleeveless dress for my one-year-old daughter. It was made from a hodgepodge of vintage fabric, and had huge, oversized buttons. When a friend asked me to share a table at a craft show, I decided to made a few more little dresses. I only sold one that day, but decided to list the rest on Etsy. I sold my first dress on Etsy, and then another, and then some more, until I realized I actually just might be able to make a living doing what I loved!
I currently work out of a sunny studio in Richmond, Virginia in the Shockoe Bottom neighborhood. All products are cut, stitched, and finished on site.
